Alvin Huggins has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Alvin started their career as a Banquet Manager at JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes in 2004, where they worked until 2010. Alvin then worked as the Director of Banquets at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Alvin worked at Marriott International as a Senior Banquet/Event Manager at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa and as an Assistant Banquet Manager at Frenchman's Reef Marriott Resort. After that, they joined Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts as a Banquet Captain at Boca Raton Resort & Club from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Alvin worked as a Banquet Captain at JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead. Alvin then moved to Loews Hotels & Co, where they held the positions of Assistant Banquet Manager and Banquet Manager at Loews Atlanta Hotel from 2019 to 2020. Following that, Alvin served as the Director of Event Operations at Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club from 2021 to 2022. Most recently, they held the role of Director of Banquet Operations at Salamander Hotels & Resorts from 2022 to 2023, and they are currently working in the same position at Sea Island Company.

Alvin Huggins obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Alliance University, from 1999 to 2002.
