Cathrine Myrmehl

Cathrine Myrmehl has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Cathrine currently holds the position of VP QHSE at SeaBird Exploration since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at GC Rieber Shipping ASA as a Quality Manager from January 2018 to July 2020 and as the Head of Client Contract Management from December 2014 to December 2017. Before that, they were employed at CGG, first as a Vessel Manager, deputy from March 2013 to December 2014, and then as a Project Geophysicist from June 2007 to February 2013. Cathrine'srole as a Project Geophysicist involved coordinating the technical aspects of seismic acquisition projects and developing relationships with external clients. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Scientist at NERSC from January 1996 to May 2007 and at GRGS from January 1995 to December 1995.

Cathrine Myrmehl attended the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Cand Scient degree in Geophysics/Oceanography. Following this, they pursued further education at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 1993 to 1995, specializing in Remote Sensing and obtaining a DESS degree.
