Steinar Hovland

Steinar Hovland has over 30 years of experience in the offshore and seismic industry. Steinar has held various roles in different companies, starting with WesternGeco as Gun Mechanic/Shiftleader. Steinar then worked as Chief Mechanic at Fugro Geoteam before joining CGG Veritas as a Mechanical Manager. Steinar continued their career at Bergen Oilfield Services, Geokinetics, and RESERVOIR EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGY ASA in the same role. Steinar also worked as the Mechanical Manager at both MagSeis AS and Vestland Offshore AS. Most recently, they served as the VP Technical at SeaBird Exploration.

Steinar Hovland attended Fana Yrkeskole from 1981 to 1982, where they focused on Mechanical studies. Following this, from 1982 to 1983, they attended Rubbestadneset Technical high school, where they specialized in Mechanics.
