Stoyan Korunchev

Stoyan Korunchev has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Stoyan currently holds the position of Chief Engineer at SeaBird Exploration since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Marine Engineer at Rem Offshore from March 2018. Stoyan has also served as a marine engineer at Vestland Offshore AS from August 2014 to March 2018. Before that, they worked at Sanco Shipping as a Marine Engineer from August 2013 to August 2014. Stoyan's career started at TNKC in November 2007, where they worked as a Marine Engineer until August 2013. Stoyan then worked at Euronav as a Marine Engineer from September 2004 to April 2007.

Stoyan Korunchev obtained a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria. Stoyan completed this degree from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, Stoyan attended Marine Highschool in Burgas, where they specialized as a Marine Electrical Technician, focusing on the field of study of electrician.
