Erik Juul Madsen

VP, Korea Branch at Seaborg Technologies

Erik Juul Madsen is the current Vice President of the Korea Branch at Seaborg Technologies. Erik has over 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked their way up from 3rd engineer to Chief Executive Officer.

Erik began their career in 1980 as a 3rd engineer on the Danebrog. Erik then moved to Maersk Drilling in 1981, where they worked their way up to Site Manager over the next 33 years. In 2014, Erik left Maersk Drilling to become the CEO of EM Services Aps.

In 2017, Erik returned to Maersk Drilling as Head of Maintenance Support. In this role, they oversaw maintenance for drilling rigs and electrical infrastructure at a site in Singapore. Erik also led a team of 16 professionals and was responsible for a $2MM budget.

In 2020, Erik left Maersk Drilling to join Seaborg Technologies as Vice President of their Korea Branch. In this role, they are responsible for business development in Korea.

Erik Juul Madsen attended Aarhus Maskinmesterskole / Aarhus School of Marine and Technical Engineering, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Erik also attended Maersk Drilling, where they completed a Driller Trainee program. Erik Juul Madsen also holds a certification in Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls from LinkedIn.
