Mathias Bertrand is the current Head of Engineering at Seaborg Technologies. Prior to this, they worked for Airbus for over 10 years in a variety of roles. These roles included A220 Architecture & Integration engineering leader, Manager Engineering & Commercial, and Manager Digital Aircraft Developments. Mathias also worked as the Short Range & Regional Aircraft Development Manager and the A320neo OAD & Flight physics leader. In these roles, they were responsible for a variety of tasks such as product strategy, product development studies, R&T pull, and marketing support. Mathias also was responsible for the integration of the A220 product (former CSeries) to Airbus and the joint venture setup between Airbus and Bombardier.
Mathias Bertrand has a Master in Aerospace structures from ISAE-SUPAERO and is currently an Aeronautical Engineer working in the field of Aeronautics at the Instituto Universitario Aeronáutico.
Mathias Bertrand reports to Eirik Eide Pettersen, Co-founder & CTO. Mathias Bertrand works with Jean Meyer - Design Engineer, Allan Thisgaard Andersen - Senior Marine Engineer, and Francisco Gerardo Almirudis Prieto - Design Engineer.
