Robert Ring

Robert Ring has extensive work experience in the maritime industry, primarily as a Chief Engineer. Their most recent role is as the Chief Engineer at Seabulk starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Marine Engineer at American Maritime Officers since January 2017. Robert has also held the position of Chief Engineer at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Maersk Line, Limited, Pacific Gulf Marine Inc, Crowley Maritime, and Rowan Companies. Additionally, they worked as the 1st Engineer at TOTE Inc. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as the Alaska Marine Contracts Manager at Shell from December 2013 to March 2016 and as the Chief Engineer on the Deep Ocean Clarion drillship for Ensco plc from October 2010 to November 2012.

Robert Ring obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their college preparatory education at Mt. Ararat between 1981 and 1987, earning a diploma. In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained an API Crane Inspector certification from the American Petroleum Institute in November 2011. Robert also completed the MAN DIESEL Advanced Diesel Course, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
