Captain Michael MacLeod

Captain Michael Macleod possesses extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Captain at SeaDream Yacht Club since February 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing vessel maintenance and managing the deck department. Prior roles include Senior Instructor and Principal Simulator Operator at the University of Trinidad & Tobago, delivering lectures on navigation and maritime safety. As a Chief Officer at both SeaDream Yacht Club and Hebridean International Cruises, Captain Macleod was responsible for vessel operations and security. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Marine Officer at Shell Oil Company, with responsibilities across various types of carriers. Education includes a Master of Laws in Maritime Law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Earth Sciences.
