Javier Hernandez Jr., CPA, MBA, MJUR International Tax, has extensive experience in the field of international tax. Javier is currently serving as the Head of Tax for Seadrill, overseeing the tax functions for the company in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Prior to this role, they worked as a Tax Manager at Seadrill from February 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining Seadrill, Javier worked as a Senior Tax Manager at Halliburton from January 2017 to December 2019, where they were responsible for managing tax matters in Latin America.

Prior to Halliburton, Javier held various tax-related roles at Noble Drilling and Parker Drilling Company. At Noble Drilling, they served as a Tax Director from January 2015 to September 2016 and as a Senior Manager in International Tax from October 2014 to January 2015. At Parker Drilling Company, they worked as a Senior Manager in International Tax from October 2012 to October 2014.

Javier also has experience in international tax management, as they served as an International Tax Manager at Ensco plc from May 2007 to November 2012 and as a Senior in International Tax at Parker Drilling Company from June 2005 to May 2007.

Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 2000.
