Michael Schou Jensen

Michael Schou Jensen has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Michael is currently employed at DEME Group as the Business Unit Manager. Prior to this, they held various roles at Seadrill Careers, including Head of Business Development and Marketing Manager. Michael also worked at DONG Energy as a Team Leader in Rigs & Marine and at Maersk Drilling as a Business Development Manager. Earlier in their career, they were an Operations Manager at Maersk Tankers and a Freight Forwarder at Maersk Logistics.

Michael Schou Jensen has a diverse education history. In 2019, they attended IMD and obtained a diploma in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, they obtained a diploma in Shipping from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. In 2000 to 2002, they studied Freight Forwarding & Shipping at Copenhagen Business School, where they earned a degree as a Freight Forwarder. Before that, from 1995 to 1997, they obtained a Gymnasieeksamen degree in Erhvervsskoler, HTX, handelsskoler from Esbjerg Gymnasium. Additionally, from 1993 to 1994, they studied Maritime Studies as a Naval Cadet at Burwain Tankers International. Lastly, in 1991 to 1992, they received nautical training as a Cadet at the School of Maritime Studies.
