Josh Aguilar has worked in the engineering and mechanical engineering fields since 2011. Josh began their career as a Field Representative at Seneca Foods Corporation in 2011. In 2013, they joined the Formula Racing team at UC Davis as a Mechanical Team Member and Operations Manager, engaging with a thirty-member multi-disciplinary design team responsible for the Formula S. A. E Series - Electric, Collegiate Design Competition rules-compliant electric race car. In 2014, they became an Engineering Intern at Tigé Boats, assisting in model year transition, composing work instructions, sourcing parts for new Surf XL system, developing new ballast tanks, redesigning engine hatch supports, 3D-modeling new trim tabs, collaborating with composites company to improve hull construction, managing ABYC and NMMA compliance issues, compiling data for prop selection, and collecting data for Coast Guard. In 2015, they joined Product Design Innovations as a Contract Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer/Partner, and Mechanical Engineer. Lastly, in 2019, they joined Seafloor Systems, Inc. as an Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineer.
Josh Aguilar attended the University of California, Davis from 2010 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Mechanical Engineering degree.
