Anil Kumar Puri is an accomplished R&D Scientist at Seagate Technology since May 2016, focusing on the design and development of plasmonic materials and processes for HAMR NFT technology. Prior to this role, Anil served as a Marie Sklodowska Curie postdoctoral fellow at the University of Duisburg-Essen, where contributions included the design and characterization of magnetic multilayers and student mentorship. Anil also held postdoctoral and research assistant positions at Uppsala University, developing dielectric measurement facilities, and investigating various magnetic properties. Anil's research journey began with a PhD at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, with earlier work at the S N Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences. Anil holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor of Science degree from Osmania University.
