Jeroen Volckaert

Jeroen Volckaert is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in controls development and mechatronic systems. Currently serving as a Senior Controls Development Engineer at Seakeeper since July 2022, Jeroen previously held the role of Control Systems Engineer at Dana Incorporated from August 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities included the development of mechatronic drivetrain controls that enhance vehicle safety, performance, and fuel economy. Jeroen also has experience as a System Engineer in Advanced Engineering at Dana, focusing on vehicle dynamics and control algorithms, and as a consultant at TMC and Altran Belgium & Luxembourg. Jeroen's early career included a thesis project at Flanders' DRIVE, an R&D internship at Toyota Motor Europe, and a production internship at Erdenet Mining Corporation. Jeroen holds a Master of Science degree in Electromechanical Engineering from VUB, earned between 2008 and 2013.
