Paul Rutt is the current Chief Technology Officer at SEAKR Engineering. Paul has over fifteen years of experience in the vacuum technology industry.

Paul started their career as a Chief Scientist and Manager of the Research Department at Helix Technology in 2001. Paul was responsible for leading research and new product development activities for high precision vacuum measurement instrumentation with a primary focus on the needs of the semiconductor industry. Paul co-directed intellectual property policy development and implementation at product center level, and was also a co-author on five US patents issued for topics relating to vacuum science and instrumentation technology. In 2005, they left Helix Technology to join SEAKR Engineering as their Chief Technology Officer.

At SEAKR Engineering, Paul is responsible for corporate technology roadmap development for semiconductor applications of vacuum systems. Paul also interacts with OEM and end user customers to assess technical requirements for new products. In addition, they manage product center engineering laboratory operations, along with associated safety policy development and capital equipment planning.

Paul Rutt received a B.S. in Applied Physics from Xavier University, an M.S. in Physics from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics from William & Mary.

They work with Scot Sommer - Vice President of Memory and Bus Systems, Rich Halvas - Chief Financial Officer, and Kent Lietzau - Director, Business Development. Their manager is Scott Anderson, President & co-Founder.
