Duane Hurley MSyl has over 20 years of work experience in various managerial roles. Duane started their career as a Post & Print Services Manager at Williams Lea, where they were responsible for the operation and development of the Post and Print Room. Duane also played a key role in maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring high-quality customer service. During their time at Williams Lea, Duane achieved several special accomplishments, including winning the Making Partnerships Work category in the London Excellence Awards.

After their tenure at Williams Lea, Duane joined Mitie as an Operations Manager, where they worked on multi-million pound accounts such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Herbert Smith LLP. Duane'sresponsibilities included managing the MITIE Document Solutions Production Unit and ensuring services met or exceeded service level agreements. Duane also actively sought new business leads and resolved any customer complaints or issues.

Following their role at Mitie, Duane worked at Ultimate Security Services as a Rear of House Manager. In this position, they managed a diverse range of activities, including courier management and refurbishment works coordination. Duane also played a role in managing the building's car park and worked closely with the General Manager on various projects.

Prior to their current position, Duane served as an EMEA Operations Manager at Silverseal. Duane faced the challenge of transitioning a new building site into a fully operational entity and successfully managed the complexities and differing departments of Bloomberg LP. During their time at Silverseal, Duane also handled multiple high-level VIP visits and organized various internal and external events.

Currently, Duane holds the position of EMEA Operations Manager at Pilgrims Risk Management Group, where they oversee the company's operations in the EMEA region.

Duane Hurley MSyl attended Seven Kings High School, where they studied Design & Communication, French, History, English, and Maths. After completing their high school education, they obtained additional certifications and qualifications in various fields. These include a Diploma in Security Management from The Security Institute in October 2020, COVID-19 Contact Tracing certification from Coursera in May 2020, National General Certificate from NEBOSH in October 2017, and Education and Training with Learning and Development Level 3 from City & Guilds in July 2016. Duane also obtained certifications in Health & Safety Regulations, Responsibilities & Risk Assessments from BIFM - The professional body for facilities management in August 2015 and Facilities Management ILM Level 3 from Westminster College in June 2015. In August 2014, Duane received NVQ Level 3 in Management from EDEXCEL and attended a Business Continuity Awareness course on ISO 22301, offered by LRQA in June 2014. Duane obtained the IOSSH Risk Assessments certification from the British Safety Council in March 2014. Previously, Duane Hurley MSyl was awarded the Office Building of the Year Award for Tower 42 by BOMA (Building Owner Managers Association) West Michigan in June 2007, and they participated in the Making Partnerships Work program organized by London Excellence Awards in April 2007. In May 2018, Duane became a certified CCTV Operator through the Security Industry Authority, and in February 2018, they earned the Radiation Protection Supervisor certification from Todd Research. Additionally, they received a Traffic Marshall certification from Hurak in July 2017 and obtained an SIA License from the Security Industry Authority in August 2015. It is not specified when Duane obtained the Bomb Threat Awareness certification.
