Chloey Cavanaugh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in arts education, marketing, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Makerspace Instructor at Sealaska Heritage Institute, Chloey plans and delivers culturally relevant workshops for students. As the owner of Black and White Raven Company, an LGBTQ+ Indigenous-owned small business, Chloey emphasizes community-building and philanthropy. Previous roles include Communications Specialist for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, Marketing & Design Manager for the Rock Áak’w Indigenous Music Festival, and Director of Marketing and Business Development at Don Abel Building Supplies, where significant traffic growth was achieved. Chloey also has a background in facilitating support groups for LGBTQ2+ individuals affected by trauma. An educational foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Stephens College and an Associate's degree from Cottey College.
