Brian Gilmartin

Brian Gilmartin is a Senior Research Chemist Formulator at Sealed Air Corporation, focusing on the formulation of inkjet products for flexible packaging solutions across various industries, including food and beverage and pharmaceuticals, since November 2021. Previously, Brian served as Lab Manager at INX International Ink Co., overseeing Quality Control laboratories in a Just-in-Time manufacturing environment and ensuring product specifications and operational efficiency. Brian held a significant role as Senior Principal Chemist at IIMAK, managing R&D for the Fluid Inks business, and as Principal Chemist, developed ink formulations for various printing applications. Earlier experience includes positions at Xerox, where Brian focused on xerographic component technology, and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester, where research centered on organometallic complexes. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Penn State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo.
