Ryan Flickinger has had a varied work experience since 2011. Ryan began their career as a Referee for McLean Youth Soccer. In 2014, they worked as a Sales Associate for Mclean Hardware, where they handled IT tasks such as purchasing a new computer, troubleshooting the network, and communicating with the ISP on behalf of the company. In 2016, they worked as a Customer Service Representative for Cognosante, where they communicated with agents and brokers to solve problems and streamline the process for acquiring certification. Ryan also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, Inc. in 2017. In 2018, they worked as an Operations Manager, Manager on Duty, Supervisor, and Valet Attendant for ParkOps. In 2020, they worked as a Maintenance Lead for Spin (Ford Mobility), where they managed mechanic teams to improve productivity and repair quality in Baltimore and Washington DC. In 2021, they worked as a PMO Intern for Mosaic Learning, where they led ceremonies defined by the Scrum framework for a team of 10+ members and created and implemented a documented onboarding system in department Confluence workspace. Currently, they are a Software Security Engineer 1 and Software Security Engineer Intern at Sealing Technologies Inc., where they create Ansible playbooks for automating a number of installation, configuration and deployment oriented processes, and manages the installation, configuration and deployment of a High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster using Slurm Workload Manager.

Ryan Flickinger is currently enrolled in the Computer Engineering A.S.E. program at Howard Community College. Ryan has also taken courses at Montgomery College and Baltimore City Community College in 2021. In 2015, Ryan took a course at the University of Maryland in Computer Engineering. From 2012 to 2015, Ryan attended Flint Hill School.
