Matthew Newlands

Matthew Newlands has a diverse background in maritime operations, currently serving as a Commercial Operator and Voyage Manager for Seapeak since May 2018, while also holding the position of Assistant Voyage Manager at Teekay Gas since October 2019. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a Training & Competency Coordinator for Deck Officers at Teekay since May 2018 and previously gained experience as a Deck Cadet and Deck Officer Cadet at Vroon from January 2015 to December 2017. Matthew's educational credentials include a Scottish Professional Diploma in Marine Management from City of Glasgow College, completed between 2015 and 2017, and a high school education from Trinity High School from 2006 to 2012.
