Developer Experience Engineer at Seaplane IO

Toni López has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Toni began their career as a Junior Software Developer at DIGIO Soluciones Digitales in 2013. Toni then moved to the Department of Computer Science at Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz in 2012. In 2015, they became an Android Software Engineer at Meetizer. In 2016, they became the CTO and Co-founder of COME - Reinventing your meals, where they managed a team of 7 engineers and organized technologies such as Android using Kotlin, React-native, and Backend in Nodejs. Toni also became the Founding Engineer at Pleasound in 2016, where they developed an Android app in Kotlin, AWS lambda Serverless with Python, and an IOS app in Swift. In 2018, they became a Senior Software Engineer at IBM Research in New York and Zurich, developing Android SDKs, Backend Development in Kotlin, NodeJS, and Python, and Frontend Development in React and lit-element. Toni then moved to Sparta Commodities as a Founding Engineer - Technical Lead, where they helped build all the Oil trading platform backend systems and manage the engineering team. In 2021, they became a Staff Software Engineer at FounderNest, helping the team build a stable and scalable project by developing new essential features that were the company's core, as well as developing internal tools and services that help the work efficiency of the rest of the teams. Currently, they are a Developer Experience Engineer at Seaplane IO since 2022.

Toni López completed a Senior technician Multiplatform Application Development, Software Engineering degree from IES Ginés Pérez Chirinos between 2010 and 2012. Prior to this, they completed a Technician in microcomputer systems and networks degree from the same school between 2008 and 2010. Toni then went on to attend Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they obtained the DAY[EMPRENDE] certification from UPV in October 2016 and a Student tutor program certification from UPV in September 2015.
