Gene Roehlkepartain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Scholar and Vice President at Search Institute since April 1991, Gene Roehlkepartain focuses on advancing the health of children, youth, families, and communities through innovative solutions and extensive research. Previously, Gene Roehlkepartain held key positions at Group Publishing from 1987 to 1991, overseeing the editing of youth-related publications, and worked as an Assistant Editor at The Christian Century from 1984 to 1987, contributing to periodicals for religious leaders. Gene Roehlkepartain holds a Ph.D. in Education: Youth, Families, & Communities from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Journalism and Religion from Baylor University.
