Heather Poparad

Heather Poparad is a Research and Practice Associate at Search Institute, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Heather served as a College Adviser with College Advising Corps from July 2020 to June 2021, and worked as a self-employed nanny between February 2019 and May 2020. Heather also has experience in education as an English Teacher at Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools for the year 2018. Heather holds a Master of Education in Educational Psychology with a focus on Applied Developmental Science from the University of Virginia, completed in May 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, Preparation for Teaching from San Jose State University.
