Laura Britten has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Laura started their career as a Work Experience Journalist at Morley Observer and Advertiser in 2009, followed by similar roles at Scarborough Evening News in 2010, Manchester Evening News in 2011, and The Bolton News in 2011. In 2012, Laura joined Search Laboratory as an Off-Page SEO Executive. Laura then progressed to the position of Marketing Executive, where they focused on client marketing and building partnerships. In 2014, Laura became a Senior Marketing Executive at Search Laboratory and was responsible for overseeing and project managing large marketing campaigns. Laura achieved notable recognition for the company at the Prolific North Awards. From 2016 to 2018, Laura served as the Marketing Manager, and finally, in 2018, they were promoted to the role of Head of Marketing at Search Laboratory.
Laura Britten earned a Master's Degree in Journalism from The University of Salford between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Drama and English from the University of Hull from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Laura also holds several certifications, including a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management from ILM, which they obtained in February 2019. Laura also obtained a Diploma in Professional Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in August 2014 and a Diploma in Journalism from the National Council for the Training of Journalists in August 2011.
