Gerasimos Pollatos

Gerasimos Pollatos has an extensive work experience in engineering roles. Gerasimos is currently working at Conductor as the VP of Engineering since August 2021. Previously, they were the Director of Engineering at OLX Group from September 2020 to August 2021. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Engineering at Yilu from August 2018 to August 2020 and at DCMN from September 2016 to August 2018. Gerasimos also worked as the Director of Engineering at Gimbal from September 2014 to September 2016, following the successful acquisition of Phigital Inc. Gerasimos started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Velti from April 2011 to August 2014. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer and Researcher at DIT, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens from January 2005 to March 2011. Gerasimos also has experience as a Software Engineer at Advanced Business Solutions from September 2003 to August 2005 and at Webpro Design & Development from March 2001 to August 2003.

Gerasimos Pollatos earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatics and Telecommunications from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 1998 to 2002. Gerasimos then completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Theoretical Computer Science from the same institution from 2002 to 2004. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Algorithms, Complexity & Combinatorial Optimization from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2005 to 2010.
