Yana Lyashkevich

Yana Lyashkevich has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Yana is currently working at Searcys as the Head of People, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a People Business Partner, People Manager, and People Advisor at the same company. From September 2015 to April 2019, Yana worked at Searcys as a Human Resources / Office Manager.

Before joining Searcys, Yana worked in the hospitality industry. Yana was a Duty Manager - Room division management at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts from February 2014 to June 2015. Yana also gained experience at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as an Assistant Front Office Manager from March 2013 to February 2014.

Earlier in their career, Yana worked at Marriott International as a Front Office Guest Experience Supervisor and a Front Office Supervisor from December 2010 to February 2013. Yana started their professional journey at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they held positions as a Front Office Guest Service Agent and a Bartender/Cashier from December 2006 to November 2010.

Yana's work experience also includes a role as an Engineer-Translator at Sea Port from July 2004 to October 2006, as well as a Camp attendant/Tutor at NJY Camps from June 2002 to September 2002.

Yana Lyashkevich, AssocCIPD, obtained a Master's Degree in Linguistics from the South-Russian Institute of Humanities in Astrakhan, Russia between 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed their High School education at the Economic-Law Lyceum in Astrakhan, Russia from 1990 to 2000. Yana furthered their education in the field of Human Resources Management and Services by completing a Level 5 Diploma in CIPD Qualifications from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, they received a Certificate in Mental Health from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. Additionally, Yana has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Creating Your Personal Brand, HR as a Business Partner, Human Resources Foundations, Talent Management, and Understanding Business in 2021.
