John Fowlis

John Fowlis has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as Vice President of Fleet Maintenance at Seaspan ULC since 1996. In this role, John leads maintenance and new construction teams to support a diverse fleet of tugs and barges while providing technical support for new construction and significant conversion projects. Prior to joining Seaspan, John worked as a Naval Architect at Robert Allan Ltd. from 1988 to 1996 and at Wartsila Arctic Inc. from 1985 to 1988. John holds a degree from Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador, earned between 1981 and 1984.
