Yevgen Lavrentyev has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Yevgen started their career as a C/E PSV DP2 with Miclyn Express Offshore in 2016, followed by a role as C/E PSV DP2 with Marine Assets Corporation DMCC. In 2017, they worked as a Chief Engineer AHTS DP2 with POSH Fleet Services. Yevgen then continued their career as a Chief Engineer PSV DP2 with BOURBON in 2018 and later with Marine Capabilities (Marcap). In 2019, Yevgen took on the position of Chief Engineer OSV DP2 Stanford Bateleur with Stanford Marine before transitioning to the role of Port Engineer with Jana Marine Service Company LLC. In 2021, they joined Rawabi Holding Group as a Port Engineer and later moved on to work as a Marine Surveyor for Transport Malta. Currently, Yevgen serves as the Chief Engineer for Seaspan ULC.
Yevgen Lavrentyev obtained a Master's Degree in Marine Engineering from Sevastopol State Technical University, completing their education from 1996 to 2001. Yevgen has also acquired various additional certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they obtained a certification in DP Maintenance from Kongsberg Maritime. In 2022, they received certifications such as Malta Flag State approved Surveyor from Transport Malta and Canada Endorsement COC First-class Engineer from Transport Canada - Transports Canada. In 2023, they obtained certifications in Advanced IGF Code Operations from USMRC - United States Maritime Resource Center and Marine Industry- Gas Fulled Vessel - Basic Training from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Moreover, in 2022, Yevgen Lavrentyev received a certification in Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services.
