Anderson Parra has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Anderson began their career as a Trainee at DORMA in 2005. From there, they worked as a Software Developer at In Voice, focusing on web application support and maintenance. In 2007, they became a Java Developer at Auster Solutions do Brasil, where they developed and maintained web applications for rating and billing tools in telecom operators. Anderson then joined SILRO Representação Ltda as a Senior Java Developer, working part-time on web applications for telecom management. In 2009, Anderson became a Senior and later a Principal Software Engineer at Amil, where they developed high scale services and core technical solutions. Anderson also led teams and was involved in recruitment efforts. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ericsson, contributing to an automatic optimization system for radio networks. Anderson then joined SoundCloud as a Senior Backend Engineer, responsible for financial reporting and royalty payment calculation. Anderson then moved to LiveIntent, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on real-time systems in marketing and product analytics platforms. At Revolut, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer before joining SeatGeek in 2020. At SeatGeek, Anderson has held roles as a Senior Software Engineer, Expert Software Engineer, and currently serves as a Staff Software Engineer. Anderson has led projects and developed a home-grown solution called Vroom for the virtual waiting room, which is used in all sales. Anderson has expertise in various tools and technologies such as Scala, Ruby, Hadoop, Spark, Crunch, MapReduce, Protobuf, Finagle, MySQL, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Java, Spring, Hibernate, Xfire, Apache CXF, WSDL, XML, Oracle Weblogic, and Apache.

Anderson Parra is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, starting in 2023. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, they completed a Master in Computer Science with a focus on Distributed Systems at UFSCar - Alumni. In 2009 to 2010, Anderson Parra obtained a Postgraduate degree in Web Development and Ubiquitous Computing from UFSCar - Alumni. Anderson'sundergraduate education took place from 2005 to 2008 at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Anderson Parra obtained a Big Data Specialization certificate from the University of California through Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016. Anderson also achieved the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in September 2008.
