Ben Richter has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Staff Auditor at Calibre CPA Group from August 2014 to December 2015. In this position, they conducted year-end audits on non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and labor unions.
Afterwards, Ben joined The ALS Association as a Staff Accountant in December 2015, where they focused on recording contribution revenue and reconciling general ledger accounts. Ben later became a Senior Accountant in July 2018, playing a key role in implementing a revenue tracking system that improved efficiency in tracking contribution revenues.
In 2021, Ben worked as a Senior Finance Associate at Black Bear Sports Group, where they were responsible for financial planning and analysis. Their tasks included budget preparation, acquisition diligence, forecasting, and obtaining financing for new acquisitions.
Currently, Ben Richter is working at SeatGeek as a Strategic Finance Senior Analyst since March 2022. Ben provides financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. In September 2023, Ben will transition to the role of Strategic Finance Manager.
Ben Richter completed their elementary education at Dows Lane Elementary School from 1996 to 2002. Ben then attended Irvington Middle School from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they graduated from Irvington High School in 2009. Ben continued their education at the University of Maryland, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Accounting and Business/Management, completing it in 2014. Recently, from 2018 to 2020, they attended the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
