Chris Leyden has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. Chris started their career as a Constituent Intern for New Jersey State Senator Tom Goodwin in 2010, where they assisted constituents with their concerns and contributed to press releases. Chris then interned at ESPN980, where they updated the homepage and created original content. In 2011, they interned at the Trentonian, covering sports events and producing video content. Chris also interned at the Office of Governor Chris Christie, working in the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs. In the same year, they worked as a Multimedia Reporter at The Diamondback and as a Production Assistant for Terps TV. In 2012, they worked as an Intern at CBS News, researching interviews and writing for their political blog. Chris also reported as a full-time Reporter at Capital News Service. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the Sports Editor at North Jersey Media Group's Verona-Cedar Grove Times. Leyden then joined SeatGeek in 2015 as a Content Analyst, where they executed marketing initiatives and coordinated with journalists for press coverage. Chris later became the Communications Manager, and subsequently the Senior Communications Manager. In 2020, Leyden transitioned to the role of Senior Manager of Consumer Strategy, leading cross-functional collaborations for business growth. Chris is currently the Director of Consumer Strategy and Initiatives at SeatGeek, responsible for generating strategic opportunities and driving collaboration within the consumer organization.

Chris Leyden attended the University of Maryland from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Government and Politics.
