Johannah Mashyaka-Joy

JoHannah Mashyaka-Joy has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. JoHannah started their career as an Event Coordinator at Jewish Voice Ministries International in 2017. JoHannah then worked as a Data Entry Specialist at GenRx Pharmacy and as a Child Safety Specialist at the Arizona Department of Child Safety in 2018. In 2019, JoHannah worked as an Office Assistant at OH Partners and as a Computer Programming Student at multiple institutions, where they gained skills in Python, HTML, CSS, Django, JavaScript, and Vue.js.

In 2020, they joined the U.S. Census Bureau as a U.S. Census Enumerator and later worked as a Flexible Fulfillment Expert at Target. In 2021, JoHannah worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Hubb - part of Intrado Digital Media, where they provided customer support and managed live sessions in Zoom. JoHannah also worked as a Developer at Birdie Boyz, where they developed and maintained a mobile-first website using Django, HTML, CSS, Python, and PostgreSQL.

Currently, JoHannah is working at SeatGeek as a Product Support Analyst, and they are also serving as a Risk Agent.

JoHannah Mashyaka-Joy completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Grand Canyon University between 2012 and 2015. In 2020, they attended PDX Code Guild for a short-term program focused on Python-Based Web/Software Development. The following year, in 2021, JoHannah obtained a Data Science with SQL and Tableau Certificate from Cornell University. In 2022, they pursued an Undergraduate Certificate in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. Finally, in 2023, JoHannah enrolled at Louisiana State University to earn an Auditing Specialist Certificate.
