Lydia Kerns

Lydia Kerns has a diverse work experience history. Lydia started their career as a Reactor Operator at Reed College Research Reactor in 2012. During this time, they operated the reactor, conducted contamination surveys, and handled radioactive materials for students. Lydia then became a Lifeguard at Reed College from 2012 to 2015. Lydia ensured the safety of swimmers and responded to emergencies.

In 2015, Lydia worked as a Research Assistant at the Adolescent Health Research Program at Reed College. Lydia helped collect data for a health psychology smoking study, conducted literature searches, and performed administrative tasks.

Lydia also held various positions at Reed College from 2013 to 2016. Lydia worked as a House Advisor, creating a comfortable environment for undergraduate dorm residents and organizing events. Lydia also served as a Residence Life Assistant, answering inquiries about student housing and assisting with various projects. Additionally, they were a Teacher's Assistant for the Research Design and Data Analysis class, providing tutoring and support to students.

From 2016 to 2017, Lydia worked as an Assistante de Langue--Anglais at the Teaching Assistant Program in France USA. Lydia assisted high-school aged French students in learning English and debunked stereotypes about other countries and languages.

Lydia joined Civil Co. in 2016 as an Intern and then progressed to roles as a Remote Customer Support and Account Manager. Lydia provided customer support and managed accounts.

Currently, Lydia is working at SeatGeek. Lydia started as an Event Expert in 2017, and then progressed to roles such as CX Team Lead, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and finally, Technical Program Manager, Marketplace Product in May 2022. In their roles at SeatGeek, they have contributed to customer experience, project management, and technical program management related to the marketplace product.

Lydia Kerns obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Reed College, attending from 2012 to 2016. Lydia also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2022.
