Todd Straceski

Director Information Security at SeatGeek

Todd Straceski has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Todd is currently the Director of Information Security at SeatGeek, a role they have held since December 2019.

Prior to that, Todd worked at Box from 2014 to 2019, where they held various roles. Todd started as a Cascade Manager (Co-op) and later became a Senior Help Desk Technician. Todd also worked as a Security Engineer, Senior Security Engineer, and Manager of Infrastructure Security. In their role as Incident Response Lead, they built an incident response program, performed incident response and forensics, and automated repetitive tasks.

Before Box, Todd worked at Zynga from 2011 to 2013. Todd started as a Security Incident Response Engineer and was later promoted to Lead Security Incident Response Engineer. In these roles, they led a team and conducted incident simulation exercises.

Todd's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Assistant and Cascade Manager (Co-op) at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2011. Todd also worked as a Patient Transport Technician at St. Francis Hospital from 2004 to 2007, and as a Snowboard Instructor at Ski Sundown from 2003 to 2006.

In 2009, Todd had a co-op role as a CALO - Customer Advocacy Lab Operator at Cisco Systems, where they set up and diagnosed mock networks for customer service.

Through their various roles, Todd has gained expertise in information security, incident response, forensics, and customer service.

Todd Straceski has a solid education history in the field of computer networking and security. Todd obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Networking and Systems Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Security and Information Assurance at the same institution, completing their studies from 2010 to 2017.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Todd has also gained certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2009, they obtained the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification from Cisco Systems. Later, in 2015, they achieved the GCFA (GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst) certification from GIAC. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous professional development and expertise in their field.
