The four co-founders of SeatGeek met while attending Dartmouth College together. Three of the co-founders - Jack Groetzinger, Russell D'Souza, and Eugene Wei - were all majoring in Economics modified with Math, while the fourth co-founder, Mike DelPonte, was studying History. After graduation, two of the co-founders - Jack and Russell - went on to work in the consulting industry, while Eugene started a company called Evolving Vox and Mike became a Founder Partner at Founder Collective. The three co-founders who were not working at Evolving Vox - Jack, Russell, and Mike - eventually came back together to start Scribnia, a content startup. After a few years, the three co-founders decided to focus their energies on SeatGeek, and they brought on a fourth co-founder, Nate Shepherd, to help them with the new venture.
