Kim Thomas

Kim Thomas has extensive experience in marine science and arts education. Since October 2011, Kim has served as the Interpretation Diving Coordinator and Marine Science Interpretative Diver at the Seattle Aquarium. Prior experience includes the role of Managing Director at ArtsEd Washington from November 2016 to June 2017, and Project Manager at the Washington State Arts Alliance, where Kim produced the annual Cultural Congress and collaborated with various stakeholders. Additionally, Kim was the Associate Director of Education at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival from January 1994 to January 2003, focusing on educational offerings and developing programs for rural and underserved schools. Kim holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from John F. Kennedy University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History from Whitman College.
