Katharine Fitzgerald

Katharine Fitzgerald serves as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Seattle Children's since December 2001, where responsibilities include creating and evaluating strategies to enhance the organization's regional and national standing in pediatric health care and research. Fitzgerald has held various roles in marketing and communications, including leading external advertising for a 250-bed children's hospital and managing media relations through proactive outreach and crisis communication. Previous experience includes senior leadership positions at Delaunay/Phillips Communications and the Washington State Medical Association, overseeing communications for a large association of physicians.
