Melissa Nibungco

Melissa Nibungco serves as Associate Vice President of Major Giving and Strategic Initiatives at Seattle Children's since November 2017, having previously held positions as Senior Director and Director of Development within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Development Officer at the Natural Resource Governance Institute and Senior Manager of the Grants Program at New York Hospital Queens, where significant contributions included establishing the institution's first grants program and securing over $15 million in grants revenue. Earlier, at Apicha Community Health Center, Melissa played a key role in developing successful programs and securing multi-year grants for health services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts with Distinction in Anthropology from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Anthropology from SUNY Geneseo.
