Melina Bermudez is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Seattle Convention Center since November 2021, Bermudez previously held the position of Director of Human Resources for the City of Laredo, where responsibilities included managing a $47 million budget and overseeing multiple divisions. In earlier roles, Bermudez contributed as an HR Business Partner at IKEA Group, Sr. Specialist in Learning & Development at Hilton Grand Vacations, and Assistant Club Director at Saks Fifth Avenue. Beginning a career at Walt Disney World as a Learning & Development Assistant, Bermudez has consistently focused on team development, employee engagement, and strategic HR initiatives. Bermudez earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
