Civic Architect, Civic Commons at Seattle Foundation

Michael Brown is a seasoned civic architect with extensive experience in community leadership and programs. Currently serving as a Civic Architect at Civic Commons since January 2020, Michael has held multiple roles at the Seattle Foundation since January 2001, including Vice President of Community Leadership and Vice President of Community Programs from July 2008 to July 2018. Michael's career began as a Legislative Aide for Councilmember McIver at the Seattle City Council from March 1997 to December 2000. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington and a degree from Loyola University New Orleans.
