John Kim

John Kim has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on global market access and pricing. John currently holds the role of Executive Director and Head of Global Market Access at Seattle Genetics since April 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Global Market Access & Pricing Oncology at Gilead Sciences from March 2018 to March 2019.

John also had a long career at Amgen, starting in 2001. During their time at Amgen, they held various roles including Reimbursement Director for Global Pricing & Market Access, Director of Value Access & Policy for the Intercontinental Region, Reimbursement Director for Global Pricing & Payer Planning, International Access & Reimbursement Lead, and Director of Global Health Economics.

Before joining Amgen, John worked as the Director of Global Strategic Market Access at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals.

John Kim started their education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1993 and completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Duke University and studied Health Economics & Outcomes Research as a fellow, though no specific degree was obtained during that time.
