Vinita Gupta

Vinita Gupta has diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vinita currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Clinical Biomarker Strategy at Seagen since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Amgen from February 2020 to October 2022, where they managed a team of four biomarker leads and was responsible for various biomarker strategies. Before that, they held the position of Director at Exelixis from March 2019 to February 2020, leading biomarker studies in genito-urothelial cancer. Vinita also has experience working at Genentech as a Bioanalytical Sub-team Lead from September 2015 to March 2019, and at Merck as a Principal Scientist from September 2013 to September 2015. Vinita began their career at Bio-Rad Laboratories in October 2006 as a Group Leader/Staff Scientist, and prior to that, they worked as a Senior Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute from 2000 to 2006.

Vinita Gupta obtained a Certification in cGMP and cGLP compliance from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their B.Sc. Honours degree in Biochemistry from Delhi University. Vinita also holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University as well. In addition, they obtained a certification in GLP and GMP Compliance from UC Berkeley in December 2007.
