Lua Belgarde

Lua Belgarde has been a dedicated professional at the Seattle Indian Health Board since May 2009, serving as the Domestic Violence Program Manager and previously as a Domestic Violence Advocate. Responsibilities included acting as a court advocate for individuals seeking protection orders, providing safety planning, and offering community resource referrals. Prior experience includes roles such as Community Services Administrative Assistant, Children’s Health Insurance Program Assistant, Elder Assistant, and Youth Service Admin Assistant at the Seattle Indian Health Board from 2005 to 2009, as well as administrative positions at Seattle University and Renton Technical College. Lua Belgarde began a career in 1994 as a Home Living Assistant at Chemawa High School. Lua Belgarde holds a degree in Medical Coder/Medical Administrative Assistant from Renton Technical College.
