Aarti Khanna is the Senior Advisor of Special Projects at Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Aarti has been with the organization since 2014, and in their current role, they are responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the organization, specifically around racial equity goals.

Prior to their current role, Khanna served as the Vice President of Membership and Sponsorship/Sr. Advisor for the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. In this role, they were responsible for over 30% of the organization's operating revenue and led the Board's Nominations and Governance committee. Under their leadership, the board and staff made significant headway towards a more diverse and inclusive board of trustees.

Khanna has also held a previous role as Sr. Philanthropy Officer, Corporate Partnerships at Friends of Waterfront Seattle. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing an effective outreach, engagement, and retention strategy.

Throughout their career, Khanna has been an active leader in promoting racial equity within organizations. Aarti has been instrumental in formulating the Chamber’s Anti-Racism pledge that holds the board and staff accountable for anti-racist practices.

Aarti Khanna has a MA in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. Aarti also has a Bsc. in Finance and Art Theirtory from Santa Clara University. Aarti attended Sardar Patel Vidyalaya for high school where they studied commerce.
