Carlos del Valle

Carlos Del Valle serves as the CIO and Associate Superintendent for Technology & Optimization at Seattle Public Schools since November 2019, overseeing technology services and a large team of IT professionals. Prior experience includes a tenure in the U.S. Air Force, where Carlos held key positions such as Director of Information Technology & Logistics and CIO/CISO, managing substantial IT infrastructures and teams across multiple global sites. Earlier roles involved the management of significant telecommunications and IT operations for the Air Force, as well as work as an Operations Systems Analyst at Computer Sciences Corporation. Carlos holds multiple advanced degrees in business and computer information systems and possesses several professional certifications related to software project management and cybersecurity.
