Teala Matthews currently serves as a Public Relations Intern with the Seattle Seahawks since July 2025. Prior experience includes positions as a Basketball Communications Assistant for the Minnesota Timberwolves from September 2024 to June 2025, and multiple roles with the Minnesota Vikings, including a Public Relations Intern and Training Camp Public Relations Intern from August 2023 to January 2025. Teala also worked as a Marketing Intern at ETS Performance during May to July 2024 and as an Associate Account Manager at Backpack Communications from August to December 2023. In addition, experience with the University of Minnesota Athletics Department as a Gopher Sports Marketing Intern took place from September 2022 to December 2023. Teala’s contributions extend to the NCAA as a College Basketball Academy Intern in summer 2023 and a role as a Social Media Coordinator for Golden Magazine from September 2022 to May 2023. Education includes studies at the University of Minnesota and participation in a study abroad program with DIS.
