Keith Rousu

Keith Rousu has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Keith started their career as a Fleet Services Supervisor at Bloodworks Northwest in 2002. In 2004, they joined the Seattle Seahawks as the Director of the Blue Thunder Drumline, where they worked with a team of 30 drummers to create an energetic game day atmosphere. Keith also supported team charitable acts and player foundations. In 2008, Keith became the Director of the Sound Wave Band at Seattle Sounders FC, a 42-person band that brought musical flair to MLS games and community events. Keith joined Seattle University in 2012 as the Director of the Redline Drumline, which supported the university's athletics and other campus events. Keith briefly worked as the Director of the Fireline Drumline at XFL in 2020. Additionally, from 1993 to 2001, Keith worked as a General Contractor at Rousu Construction, Inc. Keith Rousu has a strong education background in the fields of Sports Administration and English. Keith obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Washington, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Sports Administration at Seattle University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Keith Rousu has also obtained several certifications. Keith holds a Professional Certificate in Sports Management from the University of Washington, which they earned in June 2004. Likewise, they acquired a Professional Certificate in Sound Production from the same institution in June 2001. Furthermore, they have taken courses in Inclusive Leadership and Managing a Diverse Team from LinkedIn, earning these certifications in December 2020. Lastly, they hold an EverSafe Driver Instructor certification from the Evergreen Safety Council, which they obtained in October 2014.
