Vice President Of Facility Operations And Events at Seattle Sounders FC

Mikaela Purvis has extensive experience in various roles within the sports industry. Mikaela started their career as a Customer Relationship Representative at Seattle Sounders FC in June 2013 and later became a Fan Relations Manager. From 2016 to 2020, Mikaela served as the Director of Membership Engagement and Retention at the same company. Mikaela then took on the role of Director of Operations from 2020 to 2022 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Operations.

In addition to their work at Seattle Sounders FC, Mikaela also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University in early 2021. Before that, they gained experience through internships at the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics, where they worked as a Tyee Club Development Intern and an Olympic Sports Operations Intern. Mikaela also served as an Operations Manager at Seattle University Recreation from 2010 to 2012 and worked as an Internal Operations Intern at Seattle University Athletics in 2011.

Prior to their career in sports, Mikaela worked as a Front Desk Administrator/Supervisor at Spokane Club in 2009.

Mikaela Purvis pursued their education with a focus on athletics and sports science. Mikaela attended Seattle University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Mikaela enrolled at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2013 and obtained a Master of Education degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership.
