Anthony-Paul Diaz

Anthony-Paul (AP) Diaz, Esq. currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Seattle University School of Law and as Commissioner for the Seattle Sports Commission, along with holding the position of Superintendent/Director of Parks for the City of Seattle. Diaz is also an Executive Board Member and Advocacy Portfolio Chair for World Urban Parks and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Recreation and Park Association. Previously, Diaz was an Executive Officer for the City of Los Angeles and its Department of Recreation and Parks, where a commitment to preserving parkland and historical venues was emphasized. Diaz began a legal career as a Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office after working as an Associate Attorney at Knapp, Petersen & Clarke. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, with additional studies at Universidad de Sevilla.
