Cheronne Wong

Cheronne Wong is the current VP and CFO at Seattle Symphony. Cheronne has also previously worked as a consultant for various Seattle organizations, including PRR, Inc. and The Garrigan Lyman Group. Cheronne has also been the Chief Financial Officer for The Garrigan Lyman Group (GLG) since April 2013.

Since joining GLG, Cheronne has played a key role in driving 100% revenue growth and has supervised a team of accounting and finance staff. Cheronne has also co-led a major ERP selection/implementation project and served as the primary SME in system configuration, usage, and ongoing enhancement. As a result of Cheronne's efforts, the number of software systems/tools used by GLG was reduced from 6 to 1 and revenue recognition processing time was decreased by 88%.

In addition to their work at GLG, Cheronne has also assisted the sales team at Seattle Symphony with data-driven sales pipeline insights and in evaluating the ROI of potential new lines of business. Cheronne has also presented the executive team with accurate financials on an ongoing basis, as well as detailed KPI metrics related to utilization, efficiency, staffing, and profitability to support strategic decision-making and resource prioritization.

Cheronne Wong has a BBA in Accounting from The College of William and Mary, an MFA in Performance and Directing from The Ohio State University, and A Levels in 11-13 from Woldingham School in Surrey, England. Cheronne also has O Levels in 8-11 from St. Maur's in Surrey, England. Cheronne has certification from LinkedIn Learning in Power BI Pro Essential Training and SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis. Cheronne also has certification from KnowBe4 in 2018 GDPR and from Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in CPA (inactive). Finally, they have certification from NetSuite in Netsuite Essentials.

They work with Paul Johnson - Director of People & Culture, Josh Springer - Director of Digital Programs, and Christy Wood - VP, Marketing & Communications.
