Josh Springer

Josh Springer has over 20 years of experience in the media industry, with a focus on video production and editing. Josh is currently the Director of Digital Programs at the Seattle Symphony, where they oversee all digital content for the organization.

Springer began their career in the late 1990s as a producer and editor for 14th Street Films. Josh then spent five years as the Senior Producer of Creative Services for KCSM-TV, PBS. In this role, they were responsible for writing, producing, and editing a variety of video content for the station.

In 2006, Springer left KCSM-TV to join KCTS Television as their Creative Director & Executive Producer. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of video production for the station, from ideation to delivery. Josh also advised senior leadership on digital media technology and best practices, and recommended equipment, workflow, and infrastructure modifications to improve efficiency and quality.

Springer left KCTS Television in 2016 to join Holland America Line as their Executive Producer. In this role, they were responsible for creating and curating original video productions for the Holland America Line brand. Josh wrote, produced, directed, and edited consumer-facing video content to advance and promote the corporate brand.

In 2020, Springer left Holland America Line to join Mighty Media Studios as a Producer. In this role, they write, develops, and produces highly compelling case studies and mini-doc style content for Microsoft. Josh is currently still employed by Mighty Media Studios.

Josh Springer began their educational career by obtaining a BA in Communications/Journalism from the University of Washington. Josh then went on to obtain a Doctor of Law (JD) from Seattle University School of Law. Finally, they obtained a degree in Spanish from Universidad de Guadalajara.

Their manager is Krishna Thiagarajan, President & CEO. They are on a team with Jérémy Jolley - Interim Director of Education & Community Engagement, Adam Moomey - Senior Event & Operations Manager, and Jennifer Adair - VP, General Manager.
